JESSICA H. FLINCHUM PHOTOGRAPHY

Jessica Flinchum is a North Carolina-based photographer specializing in wedding photography with almost 10 years of experience. Her business began in the mountains near Asheville, NC and expanded east to Winston-Salem, NC. She aims to capture natural moments in the outdoor environment that she loves. By avoiding posed, fake, or unrealistic photos of her clients, she captures the connections her clients have with one another and showcases people’s individual personalities.

I designed Jessica’s logo based on her passions and photography style by incorporating nature, geometric design, and a romantic font.

COUNTERPART CABINETRY

The owner of Counterpart Cabinetry, LLC. spent hours choosing the name of his business, so I wanted to reflect that name in the design of the logo. Because a "counterpart" is something that corresponds to another thing, I chose two separate elements with the same shape and placed them as a reflection of one another separated by the company name.

SESSION BEER MARKET

The term Session is used in the beer world to indicate a refreshing, balanced experience that allows you to have multiple beers within a reasonable time period without overwhelming the senses or reaching inappropriate levels of intoxication. Embracing this philosophy but not limiting their beer selection, Session Beer Market was established in 2017 in Wilmington, NC.

The owner of Session wanted a straightforward logo that reflected this philosophy, so I kept the text simple but added a single busy element into one letter. The clock in the O is a play on the name and the characteristics of the beer after which the company was named. Clock hands made of barley added a fun, whimsical element to balance the industrial feel of the rest of the design.

BARK DESIGN

This is the logo and business card I created for my personal, freelance graphic design company. I was based in Wilmington, NC, a coastal town, so I wanted the design to reflect that; however, I also wanted the design to reflect some of my own passions. I chose palm trees, coastal colors, a dog silhouette, and two quirky fonts to represent my brand.
